IntelliPlexTM bDNA HPV Genotyping Kit
Studies have shown that HPV oncoproteins E6 and E7 can inactivate tumor suppressors (i.e., p53 and pRB), and their expression levels play a key role in the progression of cervical cancer. Using branched DNA (bDNA) technology, PlexBio has developed a sandwich nucleic acid hybridization assay, through which E6/E7 mRNA levels in various HPV types can be detected directly from cervical samples by amplifying the reporter signal rather than the target sequence.
IntelliPlexTM bDNA HPV Genotyping Kit coupling bDNA technology with πCode technology can perform multiplex HPV genotyping testing for the identification of 14 HPV high-risk genotypes simultaneously in a single reaction. 14 HPV genotypes include: 16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 59, 61, 66, 68.
