Dr. Chin-Shiou Huang, Vice President & Chief Technology Officer

Dr. Huang has over 20 years of research experience in areas related to biotechnology. He received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Cornell University. In 1999, he invented an artificial antibody fabrication technology and co-founded Aspira Biosystems. Dr. Huang led a competent research team that applied the artificial antibody technology to protein capture mechanism in many platforms, such as sequence-specific protein capture beads and protein capture array chips. Aspira was funded by Alloy Ventures and later acquired by Nanomune Inc.


Stuart M. Palmer, Chief Operating Officer

Dr. Palmer has over 30 years of scientific and executive management experience in biotechnology operations and in vitro diagnostic assay development. Dr. Palmer has received his Ph.D. in Microbiology, a Joint Degree from Rutgers University and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He was the Vice President of Technical Operations for Roche Molecular System, Inc., a subsidiary of Hoffmann-La Roche, Inc. Currently, he is the Founder and Principal Consultant of BioConsulting International, LLC.


Dr. Vipe Cheng, Director, Clinical Affairs Division

Dr. Cheng received his doctorate degree in the Graduate Institute of Technology, Innovation and Intellectual Property Management and his master’s degree in the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) Program, College of Commerce, National Chengchi University and his master’s degree in the Graduate Institute of Microbiology, College of Medicine, National Taiwan University. Prior to joining PlexBio Co. Ltd., Dr. Cheng worked for the Center for Clinical Trial and Research, Wan Fang Hospital, Taipei Medical University. Dr. Cheng also has worked at the Office of National Science and Technology Program for Biotechnology and Pharmaceuticals assisting in “Clinical Trials and Translational Medicinal Management Mechanism” and at the Office of Science and Technology, Department of Health, promoting the “Establishment of Excellent Clinical Trials and Research System".
