Denka Announces Breakthrough Development of Infectious Disease Detection in 14th NCGM International Infectious Diseases Forum in June 2022
Our majority shareholder, Denka Company Limited, will attend the 14th NCGM International Infectious Diseases Forum on June 17, 2022, held by the National Center for Global Health and Medicine (NCGM) in Japan. Denka plans to introduce the breakthrough results of infectious disease detection on IntelliPlex™ Platform to global infectious disease professionals and experts. This important forum event is hosted by NCGM and aimed to exchange the latest information and views on infectious diseases in Japan and overseas. The activity reports infection control and prevention, trends in public-private-academia collaboration activities and promotion of pharmaceuticals and medical devices developments in infection diseases fields.
Denka utilizes the licensed πCode™ Technology (Precision Image Code MicroDisc) from PlexBio and the IntelliPlex™ platform to simultaneously detect multiple infectious disease-related substances, nucleic acids and proteins.
The πCode™ Technology along with IntelliPlex™ platform could analyze up to hundreds of detection targets from one sample. The platform advantages are helpful for the application of clinical diagnosis and precision medicine. The high-throughput simultaneous detection could effectively test large numbers of samples during the epidemic times, to achieve the goals of disease prevention and prompt medications and reduce the burden of frontline medical workers during outbreaks of the pandemic.
