The IntelliPlex™BRAF V600 Mutation Kit is a qualitative molecular assay for the detection of somatic mutations on exon 15 of the BRAF gene in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue (FFPET). A total of 7 mutations can be identified in a single well by using PlexBio's core πCode™ technology.

The IntelliPlex™ BRAF V600 Mutation Kit is an in-vitro molecular test based on πCode™ technology and PlexBio's instrument platform to identify 7 nucleotide changes in exon 15 of the BRAF gene. πCode™ technology enables the multi-mutations detection in single-well with DNA samples derived from formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues. The kit provides all necessary optimized reagents for the sensitive detection of low levels of mutant DNA in a background of wild-type genomic DNA by simultaneous PCR amplification of target mutations. The testing results could deliver crucial molecular status to clinical evaluation.
